These terms are an agreement between you and Carl Abarintos (“we”, “us”), who run Sachiri Quest. By creating an account you agree to them and to our privacy policy, for yourself and for each child you add.
You must be 18 or older and the parent or legal guardian of every child you add, or have their parent's or guardian's permission to add them.
Sachiri Quest is a learning game for children in Years 1 to 6. Children answer math, English and science questions to battle monsters, and earn tokens and experience. Parents use the portal to add children, set daily duties, approve them, and choose settings such as subjects and play time. We're still growing: features, questions and balance will change as we learn from families, and some parts may be marked as coming soon.

The game, questions, characters, art, sounds and website belong to us or the people who license them to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use them for your family while your account is open. We work hard to make the questions accurate and right for each school year, but Sachiri Quest supports learning and doesn't replace school or a teacher. If you spot a mistake, tell us and we'll fix it.
Sachiri Quest is free while it is in early access. If we introduce a paid plan, we'll tell you the price and what it includes before you're charged anything, and you'll be able to choose not to subscribe.
You can delete your account at any time from Account in the parent portal. This permanently deletes your account and all your children's data, as described in our privacy policy.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts other families at risk. Unless it would be unsafe or unlawful, we will tell you first and explain why. If we ever shut Sachiri Quest down, we'll give you at least 30 days' notice by email.
We provide Sachiri Quest with reasonable care and skill, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded, such as the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law.
As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses that weren't reasonably foreseeable, for losses caused by things outside our control, or for disagreements about real-world rewards for duties. Our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Sachiri Quest in the 12 months before the claim, as far as the law allows.
We may update these terms as the game grows. We'll change the date at the top, and for important changes we'll email you before they apply and may ask you to agree again when you next sign in. If you don't agree, you can delete your account.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If you live somewhere else, you keep the protections of the consumer laws where you live. If something goes wrong, please contact us first at carl_abarintos@yahoo.com; most problems can be sorted out quickly.
